Hispanic Heritage month recognizes and celebrates Hispanic individuals who have made significant contributions to society in the field of politics, sports, the arts, and more. Sra. Weinpel's seventh grade students completed an infographic about a Hispanic figure and shared their presentation with the class.
Fifth grade students explored the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. They enjoyed learning how Frida overcame many life struggles through her passion for painting. Students used the lesson’s vocabulary to create a mini-book in Spanish retelling Frida’s story.
