The school year had started out with the Display My Art, HSA fundraiser. Afterwards Hilltop artists have continued to create variety of artworks, some seasonal and others not. Most recently~
Kindergarteners have made an impressive and beautiful print of fall foliage using sponges and cardboard strips.
First graders have brought home a still life collage of apples in the basket and a landscape painting.
Second graders also have brought home their portfolios containing line designs and many projects that dealt with primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
Third graders have worked on(and some are still working on) applying balance and unity in their artworks. Their beautiful fall still life paintings of mums display the efforts made by our artists.
And lastly, fourth graders are in the first unit -- Art of the Face. They have been working hard to make decorative masks inspired by masks of Africa.
Look out for these artworks to come home and enjoy!
