The First Graders have been working on having an initiative, collaboration, and persevering over the first month of school in their new EL Education program. The program is new to our kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders this year and students have thrived in the module block, with the first module of Tools and Work as the focus. While reading the book "The Most Magnificent Thing," by Ashley Spires, students have been learning and identifying valuable characters of habit, and how they lead to success. As part of their study, each 1st grader created their own magnificent thing using various shapes!
