Hilltop's First Graders are looking at the sun, moon, and stars in their current EL Education unit! Students learned about how the Earth receives light from the Sun as it travels around it. We had so much fun tracking our shadows at different parts of the day! First graders are also learning about the phases of the moon and worked together to draw each phase and observe the pattern of waxing and waning. Grab your binoculars or a telescope to help them to see their next endeavor!
